This brown pelican was staring at me intensely; not sure why... I took this picture on March 27, 2005, at John's Pass, Florida. The cloudy day made the image rather dull so I gave it a little photoshop art pop. I'm pleased how the result nicely emphasizes the natural colors and texture of this interesting bird.
