Description

On November 11, 2009, my son and a good friend and I took a pre-dawn hike up to Makapuu Point (and Lighthouse). One of the rewards was this image of the morning sun creeping over the Waimanalo and Kailua coastline of Ohau. The two islands are seabird sanctuaries, the larger being Manana Island or more commonly referred to as Rabbit Island.
