I was really pleased to capture this gator swimming with more than his head above water; not very common except in mating season. The morning light and flat lake enhanced the reflective design. I took this picture May 4, 2008, at the small lake behind my Florida home.

Cool shot...almost graphic. I lived in WPB for seven years (and 4 hurricanes). Sometimes I should tell you my alligator story...a mom and 10 babies and I was 2 feet away taking pics...silly me.
